Most recent Upgrade: Clients can spare up to Rs 40,000 on Tata Altroz this June. Here’s what we learnt after driving the Altroz CNG.
Cost: It is estimated from Rs 6.60 lakh to Rs 10.74 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The CNG variations begin at Rs 7.55 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Variations: It can be had in seven wide variations: XE, XE+, XM+, XT, XZ, XZ (O), and XZ+. Tata offers the Dim Version on trims XT and over and the CNG powertrain is being advertised with six variations: XE, XM+, XM+ (S), XZ, XZ+(S) and XZ+ O (S).
Boot Space: Its petrol and diesel variations offer a boot space of 345 liters whereas the CNG variations will have a boot space of 210-litres.
Motor and Transmission: The Altroz comes with three motor choices: a 1.2-litre actually suctioned petrol unit (86PS/113Nm), a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol (110PS/140Nm) and 1.5-litre diesel (90PS/200Nm). All three motors are matched with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard, whereas the actually suctioned petrol motor moreover comes with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
The CNG variations are fueled by the 1.2-litre normally suctioned petrol motor matched with a 5-speed manual as it were. This motor will churn out 73.5PS and 103Nm.
